Austin Weekly Events-October

Austin Weekly Events-October

What would be my perfect agenda for this Saturday?  It would start with a morning workout and then brunch at the Galaxy Cafe.  From there we would head to the Blanton where we would join the public tour, Symbol and Allegory: The Hidden Language of Art.  I am interested to learn what secrets lay in some of history’s most famous works! After a bit of art education we’d duck into Bennu Coffee for a cup of French pressed coffee and a bite of something sweet.

The evening would be spent at the Co-Lab Project where artist, Jennifer Chenoweth will collect public input on locations in Austin where people have had meaningful experiences.  She will use this information to create a 3-d map of Austin, noting the highs and lows of our collective experience.  We’d then have an amazing meal at Blue Dahlia Bistro where we’d enjoy our favorite French dishes and wine pairings.  Ah, perfect…
