Four Inspiring Places in Austin

Four Inspiring Places In Austin Inspire. Re-charge. Feed the soul. These are the words that come to mind when I think about a few of my favorite places to visit in Austin.

Lady Bird Lake Trail

It’s our Sunday ritual to run the five mile loop around Lady Bird Lake. The energy created by the many runners and the beauty of the lake spur me on… along with the thought of the yummy brunch that follows!

Whole Foods Shoppers

Whole Foods Flowers

Whole Foods Bread

I look forward to shopping at the downtown Whole Foods Market each week. The shoppers are an inspiring mix of  fit and stylish creative types. The colorful array of fresh produce, sound of live music, smell of fresh baked bread, and lively wine bar offer a full sensory experience!

A visit to Book People, a locally owned book store, is an intellectual adventure. I can spend hours wandering up and down the aisles, glancing through books that capture my attention. I rarely leave without buying at least one or two!

black swan

Doing yoga at Black Swan challenges my physical practice and renews my spirit.  This non-profit center honors the core principals of yoga.  The vibe is down to earth and welcoming.

What are some of your favorite soul-renewing places?
