A few Austin events this weekend:

Art and Awakening at the AMOA-Arthouse at the Jones Center.  Saturday, June 1 10:00a to 11:00a.

Zen priest and psychologist Flint Sparks will lead a meditative walk through Pinaree Sanpitak’s installation Temporary Insanity, engaging visitors through a brief orientation to Buddhist practice and a reflection on the gallery experience, a true pilgrimage of art and awakening.

The Austin Flea at The Rattle Inn, Saturday, June 1 11:00a to 5:00p.

The show features local handmade and vintage wares from some of Austin’s most talented artisans.

Mass Gallery Exhibit

Wally at MASS Gallery, Saturday and Sunday, Jun 1 and June 2 12:00p to 5:00p

MASS Gallery presents “Wally,” works in painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, and sculpture by six artists from across the U.S. with a shared interest in bold color, shaped canvases, and the creative use of walls and physical space.
